Join Captains For Clean Water at BIG ARTS on Sanibel Island as we debut our latest film, SB2508: a death threat to Everglades restoration. This film tells the story of political corruption and an underdog’s triumph during the 2022 legislative session, when the Captains community rallied to safeguard the future of Everglades restoration. Get an inside look into how the voices of many can create an uproar and stop special interests in their tracks.

Following the film, there will be a Q&A panel led by Captains For Clean Water Executive Director Daniel Andrews, South Florida Water Management District Board Chair Chauncey Goss, and Sanibel Captiva Conservation Foundation CEO James Evans, during which we encourage you to spark conversation and get your questions answered.
