American Legion 123 of Sanibel Island hosted a successful July 4th holiday celebration with over 300 people in attendance. The event featured food, drinks, fun and raised funds for rebuilding efforts.
The Commander of the legion, John Hird, expressed his gratitude to the community for their support and generosity. “We are overwhelmed by the response we received from our neighbors and friends. This event would not have been possible without their help and donations. We thank them from the bottom of our hearts for honoring our service and sacrifice.”
The Legion also announced that its popular tiki bar will re-open late July after undergoing renovations. The tiki bar is a favorite spot for locals and visitors alike, offering a relaxing atmosphere and a variety of drinks and snacks. The Legion invites everyone to come and enjoy the new and improved tiki bar when it opens.
