The SanCap Chamber has announced the date and venue for its 2025 annual meeting, celebrating 63 years of supporting island businesses. The event will take place on Wednesday, April 30, at Sundial Beach Resosrt & Spa, 1451 Middle Gulf Drive, Sanibel Island. Check-in begins at 11 a.m. with the luncheon, annual presentation, and awards beginning at 11:30.
Tickets are $70 each, available through April 25. Members receive invitations by email or can visit sanibel-captiva.org to register.
During the business meeting, the chamber will introduce its new board of directors for 2025, share its 2023-2024 achievements, and announce the winners of its annual membership awards for Business of the Year, New Business of the Year, Sue Rosica Gray Volunteer of the Year, and Citizen of the Year.
“We are excited to gather once again on-island for our annual meeting,” said John Lai, chamber president and CEO. “The last time we were able to come together on the islands for our annual meeting was in 2022 at Sundial, where we celebrated the chamber’s 60th anniversary. We have a lot to celebrate and applaud this year, and a lot more to look forward to as our business community continually shows its strength and cohesiveness in the aftermath of disaster.”
Homerun Sponsor for the annual meeting, in conjunction with Islands Night on May 7, is Bank of the Islands. Other sponsors include: Triple Sponsor Lee Health; and Single Sponsors Alliant Property Management, LCED, SCCF, and Sanibel Captiva Community Bank. The chamber also thanks the city of Sanibel 50th anniversary sponsor, Sanibel Captiva Community Bank, for its support of this and ongoing celebratory events.
Additional sponsorship opportunities are available for the event; contact Aaron Walton at [email protected] to secure a sponsorship or for more information about the annual meeting.
