Bailey’s General Store and its Island Store on Captiva have ensured a downright good time will be had by all at The Watch Party – a fundraising event supporting the Coastal Watch program leading SCCF’s volunteer-driven, community-based marine conservation initiatives.“We are so grateful to Bailey’s, the Island Store, and the Johnson Family for sponsoring Uproot Hootenanny’s performance at The Watch Party,” said Coastal Watch Director Kealy McNeal. “The Johnsons have played Coastal Watch leadership roles for some time. We so appreciate their generosity yet again this time.”
The Watch Party will take place on Friday, September 29 from 5:30-9 p.m. on the grounds of SCCF’s soon to be reopened headquarters property at 3333 San-Cap Road on Sanibel. Tickets are available while supplies last at https://sccf.org/the-watch-party.
The Watch Party, a rain or shine outdoor event, will feature:
• Live music from the fan-favorite Uproot Hootenanny, the four-piece folk/bluegrass band known for laying down and funky bass line for the fiddle to shine through
• Shrimp boil, other good eats, craft beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages
• Casting competition, 50/50, and fun ways to fund a new Coastal Watch truck
