The Sanibel Historical Village has recently announced that both Bailey’s General Store and Sanibel Catering by Bailey’s  will be Platinum sponsors of its February 18, 2020, Historical Village Gala. The theme of the gala is “It Takes a Village,” and it will be held at the Community House from 6 to 10 p.m.

The gala will include a buffet dinner and dancing. Tickets to the gala are $135 per person and can be purchased by calling (239) 472-4648.

“The Bailey family means so much to this island and so much to the Historical Village,” said village Executive Director Emilie Alfino. “We are so proud and grateful to have them support the village with such generous sponsorships. All four generations have always been there for this community in every way!”

The Sanibel Historical Village is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Full guided tours take place at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. at no additional charge, depending on docent availability. The village is located at 950 Dunlop Road (next to BIG ARTS) and there is handicap access to the buildings. Admission is $10 for adults over 18. Members and children are free.
