Bank of the Islands recently made its latest non-profit donations through its “We Love Our Islands” program. Charlie Ball, affectionately as Barefoot Charley, was the lucky winner. Spotting a “We Love Our Islands” decal on his vehicle, Ball earned the right to select which local non-profit organization would receive a charitable contribution from Bank of the Islands. Ball chose to split his $1,100 in winnings, giving $550 each to SCCF and FISH. Those donations mark $94,900 given away to date through Bank of the Islands’ We Love Our Islands program.
“We’re so glad Charley chose to split our donation between SCCF and FISH,” said Sanibel-Captiva Asst. Office Manager Susan Schulte. “These two organizations do so much to care for the people and wildlife that call our islands home. Making donations through our We Love Our Islands program is such a great way to show how much we appreciate being your island bank.”
