Bank of the Islands recently made its latest non-profit donations through its “We Love Our Islands” program. Fernando Montecillo was the lucky winner. After the bank spotted a “We Love Our Islands” decal on his vehicle, Fernando earned the right to select which local non-profit organization would receive Bank of the Islands’ contribution. Thanks to his thoughtful selection, Bank of the Islands split his winnings, with $400 being donated to both F.I.S.H. and Community Housing Resources (CHR).

These donations mark $102,600 given away to date through Bank of the Islands’ “We Love Our Islands” program.

“We’re so pleased Mr. Montecillo wanted us to support two such worthwhile organizations with these bank donations,” said Bank of the Islands President Robbie Roepstorff. “One of the pillars of our community is the commitment to providing social services and affordable housing to our neighbors in need. Having F.I.S.H. and CHR in place to provide that help is so important for our islands. Because of the good work these two nonprofits do day in and day out, we feel these donations are such a great way to show how much we appreciate being your island bank.”
