Bank of the Islands recently made its latest non-profit donations through its “We Love Our Islands” program. Lisa Wood and Paul Smith were the lucky winners. After the bank spotted a “We Love Our Islands” decal on their vehicle, Lisa and Paul earned the right to select which local non-profit organization would receive a charitable contribution from Bank of the Islands. They chose to give their $1,100 in winnings to F.I.S.H of Sanibel-Captiva, our islands’ longstanding social services organization. That donation marks $97,900 given away to date through Bank of the Islands’ We Love Our Islands program.

“We’re so pleased Lisa and Paul chose to give our donation to F.I.S.H.,” said Bank of the Islands Lead Teller Heather Harrison. “Whether it’s their food pantry or other valuable services, F.I.S.H. is such an important community resource, especially for our neighbors in need. We are happy to make this gift today, and to be a food pantry collection site every day. Supporting F.I.S.H., including its upcoming 10K race, is such a great way to show how much we appreciate being your island bank.”

All islanders are invited to visit the bank’s Sanibel or Captiva office to learn more about the “We Love Our Islands” program and how you and your favorite charity can become our next lucky winners.
