President Brad Nickel Highlights Partnership with CHR and Support for Festival of Trees
Benchmark General Contractors is reaffirming its commitment to rebuilding and strengthening the Sanibel community through its partnership with Community Housing & Resources (CHR) and sponsorship of the Festival of Trees.
In a recent interview, Brad Nickel, President of Benchmark General Contractors, emphasized the importance of affordable housing to the island’s recovery and long-term vitality.
“CHR is important to us and the community because it’s really the lifeblood of the island,” Nickel said. “We need employees who can live here to run the hotels, shops, and restaurants. Without them, the island simply can’t thrive. Supporting CHR and affordable housing is essential to rebuilding Sanibel in a sustainable way.”
Benchmark General Contractors has been a key partner in the Riverview affordable housing rebuild, a cornerstone project for CHR’s mission to provide housing for essential workers and families who keep the island’s economy and culture alive.
The company’s sponsorship of CHR’s Festival of Trees further underscores its dedication to community engagement and local causes that bring residents and businesses together.
