BIG ARTS invites the community to a special film night on Tuesday, February 11 at 7:00 PM, featuring the premiere of a new documentary celebrating the remarkable life of Esperanza Woodring, a true barrier island legend. This Ken Sneeden production, created in collaboration with the Sanibel Historical Museum & Village and the Captiva Island Historical Society, includes exclusive interviews and compelling insights that reveal Esperanza’s indomitable spirit, perseverance, and lasting impact—captured alongside Charlie McCullough’s iconic black-and-white photographs. A Q&A with Sneeden will follow the screening, and a cash bar will be available.
