Bank of the Islands has stepped up to the plate to support the SanCap Chamber with a combination Title sponsorship of the Annual Meeting luncheon on Wednesday, April 30, and Homerun sponsorship of the 32nd annual Islands Night ball game a week later on May 7.
“Bank of the Islands has always been a solid team player when it comes to backing businesses on the islands through the chamber,” said John Lai, president and chief executive officer of the SanCap Chamber. “They’ve agreed to a package sponsorship of our two big spring events this year.”
Sponsorships are still available for both events on three levels. To become a sponsor, contact Aaron Walton at [email protected] or 239-472-8759.
During the Annual Meeting at Sundial Beach Resort & Spa on Sanibel Island, the chamber will introduce its new board of directors for 2025, share its 2023-2024 achievements, and announce the winners of its annual membership awards for Business of the Year, New Business of the Year, Sue Rosica Gray Volunteer of the Year, and Citizen of the Year.
More details will be forthcoming about the meeting and Sam Bailey’s Islands Night 50th Anniversary Edition at Hammond Stadium. The Fort Myers Mighty Mussels will meet the Dunedin Blue Jays for an evening of baseball and a pre-game parade showcasing businesses and organizations from Sanibel and Captiva islands. Tickets will be available for free admission.
The chamber also thanks the city of Sanibel 50th anniversary sponsor, Sanibel Captiva Community Bank, for its support of this and ongoing celebratory events.
