The new “Dolphin Tracks” ice cream invented by Captains For Clean Water co-founder Chris Wittman delights clean water supporters at Sanibel’s Best Homemade Ice Cream. “Without the support of the community, we cannot accomplish our goals,” said Captain Wittman. “Important progress has been made to improve the health of our estuaries, but so much remains to be done.”
“Visitors and locals are finding common ground enjoying ice cream to support the Captains,” said Laurie Verme, Sanibel’s Best Homemade Ice Cream owner. “Gift certificates and prizes from community businesses continue to be featured in a raffle at the store in support of the organization.” Throughout 2020, proceeds from raffles, sales of “Dolphin Tracks” and upcoming events will be earmarked for the organization.
