There was a buzz of excitement in the air as ten local business owners gathered recently for a special AI training class, thanks to the Charitable Foundation of the Islands (CFI). This hometown event brought together entrepreneurs eager to learn how artificial intelligence can help their businesses grow and thrive right here on Sanibel and Captiva.
The workshop was led by Ain Technology and Design Hub at the Daveler and Kauanui School of Entrepreneurship FGCU Professor Mark Bole, who guided the group through the ins and outs of AI technology. Over the course of two lively hours, attendees discovered practical ways to use AI to improve their day-to-day operations, marketing, and customer service.
Thank you to local artist Rachel Pierce, who welcomed everyone into her art gallery for the event. Her generosity and community spirit set the perfect backdrop for learning and collaboration.
The CFI is grateful for the partnership with FGCU and looks forward to more opportunities to support our island businesses. Together, we’re building a brighter future—one innovative idea at a time.
