Community Housing and Resources is delighted to announce the successful reopening of all its apartments and the welcome of our newest resident. Our final apartment has been completed from Hurricane Ian storm damage. Executive Director Nicole Decker-McHale expresses joy in this milestone, as it signifies a new beginning for many in our beloved community.

“We are thrilled to welcome our newest resident home,” said McHale. “This is a testament to the resilience of our community and the unwavering support from the city of Sanibel, our dedicated Board of Directors, amazing volunteers, and exceptional staff. Together, we have made it possible for our residents  to have a safe and welcoming place to call home.”
