Community Housing and Resources (CHR) is thrilled to announce the addition of two new tiny libraries to our properties, thanks to the dedication and hard work of Alexander Erickson. As part of his Boy Scouts of America project, Alexander has made a lasting impact on our community by promoting literacy and accessibility to books.

These charming tiny libraries are more than just book-sharing boxes; they symbolize the spirit of community collaboration and the importance of giving back. Alexander’s commitment and effort have not only enhanced our properties but have also provided a valuable resource for residents to enjoy and share books.

“We are so impressed with Alexander’s hard work and efforts and truly appreciate all that he has done to improve our properties,” said Nicole Decker-McHale, Executive Director at CHR. “Our community works together, and this project is a testament to the positive impact that can be achieved when we unite for a common cause.”

CHR invites the community to visit and enjoy the new tiny libraries, fostering a love for reading and a sense of community on Sanibel.
