As the city of Sanibel approaches the November 2024 kickoff of its 13-month 50th anniversary celebration of incorporation, it, in partnership with SanCap Chamber, unveils an initial line of merchandise to commemorate the occasion.

“I know residents have been anxiously awaiting purchasable mementos featuring the cool new logo for the 50th anniversary of the city’s incorporation on Nov. 5, 1974. And now they’re here!” said John Lai, president and CEO of SanCap Chamber, which handles merchandise sales and shipping. “We have created an easy way to order logo shirts, mugs, baseball caps, and tumblers right now. And expect even more merchandise items to come.”

Shoppers can visit 50YearsofSanibel.com to order long-sleeved performance shirts in white, light blue, and melon shades; and short-sleeved T-shirts in white and ivory. Both come in all adult, unisex sizes. Baseball caps are available in blue and cream. Other anniversary souvenirs include a black, 26-ounce Yeti bottle; a black, 30-ounce tumbler; a pink, 40-ounce travel tumbler; and campfire mugs in teal or blue.
