The Sanibel Community House is delighted to announce that both of artist Joyce Curvin’s upcoming workshops have sold out, reflecting the community’s enthusiasm for creative, hands-on art experiences.

Although both workshops are currently full, those interested are encouraged to join the waitlist. Openings often become available, and the Sanibel Community House will contact waitlisted participants in the order received.

In her first two-day workshop, participants will create a whimsical 12-inch bird using primarily recycled materials. The class will be held Wednesday, December 10, and Thursday, December 11, from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Each participant will leave with a one-of-a-kind bird full of personality and charm.

Joyce’s second workshop, “Wrap Up an Owl for the Holidays,” invites participants to craft an adorable owl from upcycled materials such as newspaper, old scarves, wire, clay, and paper. All materials are provided, making it a fun and accessible experience for all skill levels.
