The San Cap Pink Project is proud to announce Cypress Cove and Cypress at Home as sponsors and vendors at the Annual Pink Out Picnic: Health & Hope Wellness Expo. This free community event is open to the public, and everyone is encouraged to attend and enjoy lunch, entertainment, and a fun photo booth.

Held the fourth Thursday of October each year, the Pink Out Picnic began in 2012 by San Cap Pink Project Founder Mary Bondurant, a longtime Sanibel resident and 15-year breast cancer survivor. The Pink Out Picnic has become a signature community event dedicated to awareness, education, and support for those impacted by breast cancer.

“Early detection saves lives. Above all, our mission is to help every woman and man obtain a mammogram, and with the support of community partners like Cypress Cove and Cypress at Home, we can make that happen,” said Bondurant, Founder of the San Cap Pink Project. “We also want people to know they’re not alone after a diagnosis. Many of our team members are survivors themselves, ready to provide guidance, encouragement, and hope every step of the way.”

Building on the principle of community, Cypress Cove and Cypress at Home’s sponsorship underscores their commitment to supporting wellness and hope for anyone navigating a cancer journey. Beyond medical treatment, cancer can bring physical, emotional, and spiritual challenges. The San Cap Pink Project’s mission is to ensure no one walks that journey alone by connecting individuals with resources, education, and compassion throughout Southwest Florida.
