SCCF (the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation) is proud to recognize Doc Ford’s Rum Bar & Grille as a returning sponsor for the upcoming winter issue of SCCF’s Connecting You to Nature magazine.

“This magazine is a great means for our members and neighbors to take a deep dive into the nature that surrounds us and the work SCCF does to protect it,” said SCCF CEO James Evans. “It’s just terrific that Doc Ford’s has returned as a funding partner for this third issue.”

The magazine is mailed island-wide twice annually in the winter and spring. It is intended to give readers a greater understanding of how the land, water, and wildlife on and around Sanibel and Captiva depend on SCCF’s stewardship.

“Doc Ford’s has partnered with SCCF since the first year we opened our doors,” said Marty Harrity, Proprietor of Doc Ford’s Rum Bar & Grille. “They have been the conservation stewards for our islands for more than 50 years, and we’re proud to return as a sponsor for this very worthwhile publication.”

As was the case in 2021, the Sanibel Captiva Trust Company joins Doc Ford’s Rum Bar & Grille in underwriting this issue. Companies interested in future underwriting opportunities are invited to contact SCCF Development Director Cheryl Giattini at 239-822-6121.
