FISH OF SANCAP is thrilled to announce the return of their fundraising event, JOG N JAM 2025, bringing together the best of fitness, music, and community celebration—all in support of neighbors helping neighbors.

The event features two can’t-miss experiences:

  • Saturday, November 1 – the 10K, 5K, and Kids Fun Run will take place at the Sanibel Community House, inviting runners of all ages and abilities to enjoy a scenic island run filled with energy, connection, and community spirit.
  • Saturday, December 6 – the party continues with a concert on the beach at ‘Tween Waters, Captiva, featuring the wildly popular Ben Allen Band and a spectacular fireworks display to light up the night.

After welcoming a record 570 runners and hundreds of concertgoers in 2024, this year’s JOG N JAM is gearing up to be even bigger. “We’re hoping to top last year’s numbers, and with the Ben Allen Band headlining the beach concert, we’re expecting a huge crowd and an unforgettable celebration of island spirit and community,” says Maria Espinoza, Executive Director.

The event is made possible by an enthusiastic committee that has been hard at work since early 2025. Led by Leah Winkler, FISH Board Member and JOG N JAM Chair, the team includes dedicated FISH staff and an incredible group of volunteers who bring creativity, energy, and heart to every detail. From coordinating race logistics and concert planning to securing sponsors and spreading the word, the committee comes together through a shared commitment to creating an unforgettable experience that uplifts the community and supports the vital programs of FISH.

“This is so much more than a race or a concert—it’s one of two FISH annual fundraisers that support our organization,” says Winkler. “Every step taken and every ticket purchased supports the critical, day-to-day programs FISH offers—programs that touch nearly everyone who lives or works on the islands, as well as those who visit here.”

Net proceeds from JOG N JAM directly support FISH’s four service pillars—Food, Island-Based Education, Social and Senior Services, and Helping Hands—as well as the organization’s long-term disaster recovery efforts following Hurricanes Ian, Helene, and Milton. These services are a lifeline for the island’s most vulnerable residents, seniors, and the workforce still facing economic hardship.

Concert tickets and runner registrations are on sale beginning Apr. 30, with special early pricing available. Runners and concertgoers are encouraged to sign up early to take advantage of lower runner registration fees and special concert pricing:

Participants are encouraged to scroll through both platforms and check back often for the latest updates and offers.

FISH also invites local businesses and supporters to join the effort by becoming event sponsors. “Sponsorships are vital,” says Winkler. “They help us meet growing needs for food, financial assistance, and disaster recovery while giving businesses a meaningful way to show up for this community.”

The committee is actively seeking support from island and local businesses—including retailers, restaurants, service providers, and more—through financial sponsorships and special offers that will be featured in a digital goodie bag available to participants from now through concert day.

Each runner receives a finisher medal, T-shirt, and the chance to place in their age group to receive a special island-focused award. The Kids Fun Run is free with registration and includes a finisher’s ribbon and treat. In December, the concert will offer food and drinks for purchase, and shuttle services for easy access, making it a festive and family-friendly experience.

FISH invites the entire community—and visitors from near and far—to lace up, jam out, and help neighbors thrive.
