Currently a consulting Geologist, Jack has more than 60 years as a college professor, research scientist, petroleum explorer, and environmentalist. Having earned a PhD in Geology, Jack has worked on environmental and energy-related projects all over the world. His publications led to lecturing in Southeast Asia and the Middle East for an international engineering society. Since 2006, he has been an invited lecturer on ocean cruises, folding together his interest in the interaction between Earth history and human history. Jack is an exciting speaker and loves to share his knowledge of faraway lands. Each lecture is about an hour long, with plenty of time for Q&A after 🙂 Complimentary beer and wine will be provided.
