The Charitable Foundation of the Islands is pleased to announce Lake Michigan Credit Union as the grants sponsor of its upcoming Volunteer Expo, marking the second year the credit union has supported this important community event.
The Volunteer Expo brings together local nonprofits, volunteers, and community partners to strengthen connections and expand opportunities for service across the islands. As part of their sponsorship, Lake Michigan Credit Union will be awarding $8,000 in mini grants to local nonprofit organizations, directly supporting programs and services that benefit the community. Grants will be awarded in two categories, People’s Choice and Best Decorated Tables. Attendees will select the People’s Choice Award winners but must register ahead of time to vote.
