Periwinkle Park is proud to announce its participation in the Adopt A Mangrove initiative that took place Friday at the Bailey Homestead, organized by the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation (SCCF). As a long-standing part of the Sanibel community, Periwinkle Park is committed to supporting efforts that protect and preserve the natural environment we all share.
David Muench, General Manager of Periwinkle Park says, “At Periwinkle Park, we believe that protecting Sanibel’s natural environment is part of our responsibility as members of this community. Supporting SCCF’s Adopt A Mangrove initiative is a meaningful way for us to give back and help preserve the island’s beauty and resilience for generations to come.”
Mangroves play a vital role in protecting our coastline, supporting wildlife, and maintaining the health of our ecosystem. By joining this initiative, Periwinkle Park is honored to contribute to the ongoing work of SCCF and to stand alongside others in caring for our island’s future.
