This public-private partnership has been made possible through the generosity of volunteers and donors, including island artist Rachel Pierce who shared her artwork, On Island, who donated T-shirts, and Laura DeBruce for donating a screening of her documentary, On Sanibel: The Hurricane Diaries.

One of the most inspiring contributions comes from Gabriella, a student at The Sanibel School, who created handmade resin ornaments and donated them to support the Roots in Resilience initiative. Her creativity and willingness to help remind us that resilience has no age limit and that even the youngest members of our community are making a meaningful impact.

Thank you to everyone who has volunteered, donated, and shared their talents. Together, we are planting roots of resilience that will continue to grow across Sanibel Island.
