Michael Saunders & Company has stepped up as a Gold Sponsor ($3,000 level) for the 39th annual Luminary Stroll taking place Friday, Dec. 5 (Sanibel), and Saturday, Dec. 6 (Captiva). As such, the firm receives special recognitions before and during the event.
“A night filled with fun, lights, and community!” said Michael Saunders & Company president Drayton Saunders. “We knew it was an event not to be missed, and we are thrilled to be part of it as we celebrate our first holiday season on island.”
Candle-lined pathways lead luminary guests to gaily decorated shops, restaurants, and organizations for special discounts and treats each year during Luminary Stroll. As a final highlight for the City of Sanibel 50th anniversary celebration, this year’s luminary promises one of the brightest, most festive in its 39 years of existence. Activities will include a petting zoo, a WINK meteorologist guest of honor, Santa visits, live music, and complimentary surprises.
“We warmly welcome Michael Saunders to its Luminary Stroll debut,” said John Lai, SanCap Chamber president and chief executive officer. “Thanks to our generous sponsors, the long-celebrated tradition of community goodwill and holiday celebration will once again bring together islanders and visitors in a joyous burst of spirit along the festive commercial districts of Sanibel and Captiva.”
