Newly renovated and opened Feb. 27, the Market Place at the Sundial officially celebrated with a SanCap Chamber ribbon-cutting on March 11 at 1451 Middle Gulf Drive on Sanibel Island.
“With the opening of this latest amenity, Sundial Beach Resort & Spa bolsters its reputation as a full-service destination resort,” said John Lai, SanCap Chamber president and chief executive officer. “It fills the gap in its lineup of casual and fine dining experiences with a cheerful market selling easy pick-up snacks and beyond.”
“We serve hot and cold beverages, breakfast sandwiches, pastries, deli sandwiches, beer, wine, ice, snacks, logo wear, candy, groceries, and beach and gift items,” said Sundial general manager Becky Miller. “We will continue to add inventory as we determine what our customers’ needs are.”
The Market Place opens daily 7 a.m.to 6 p.m. and touts its “We Proudly Serve Starbucks” franchise. Chamber staff and board members joined Sundial employees to cut the symbolic ribbon.
“The chamber is always so supportive of every project and every step the Sundial has taken toward reopening,” said Miller. “We cannot thank them enough for everything that they do for us.”
