Sancap Kiwanis was honored to welcome Jamie Senkleleski, Executive Director of Trailways Camps, and Karan Balmer, Operations/Outreach Assistant , as our speakers of the week. Jamie and Karan shared the inspiring story of Trailways Camps, from its beginnings to its present-day mission of providing enriching camp experiences for individuals with special needs.
Trailways Camps offers a unique environment where every participant is celebrated. The program empowers adults with special needs—and those who care for them—to grow socially, emotionally, and spiritually.
We are also proud to recognize our own member, Karen Meyer, for her volunteer work with Trailways Camps. We truly appreciate learning about this remarkable program and the impact it has on our community.
