The holiday season is about to get a little more magical on Sanibel and Captiva. The SanCap Kiwanis Club is once again hosting its beloved Annual Santa Run, bringing cheer, surprise, and a personal visit from Santa himself to homes across the islands.
How It Works
Community members are invited to take part by preparing their holiday gifts in advance. Simply wrap and clearly address each present, including any helpful delivery notes, and place them together in a bag. All gift bags should be dropped off at the Sanibel Fire Station, 2361 Palm Ridge Road, on Tuesday, December 23, by 5:00 PM.
Once the gifts are collected, Santa will set out on his festive route. Deliveries will take place between 6:00 and 8:00 PM on the same evening, bringing joy directly to the address you provide. Families are encouraged to have cameras ready to capture the excitement—whether it’s a surprise for a friend who could use a little extra cheer or a magical moment for the youngest believers in the household.
This cherished community tradition is a heartwarming way to spread kindness, connect with neighbors, and make the season brighter for all.
