The SanCap Kiwanis Club recently awarded a grant to Boy Scout Troop 1740 to support the purchase of a new equipment trailer. The trailer will be used to transport camping gear and supplies for outdoor adventures—an essential part of the scouting experience that has been inspiring youth for more than a century.
The new trailer will make it easier for the troop to plan and organize camping trips, ensuring scouts have the resources they need to learn teamwork, leadership, and self-reliance in the outdoors.
The SanCap Kiwanis Club remains dedicated to supporting the youth and families of Sanibel and Captiva through community service, scholarships, and grants that strengthen the islands’ future.
