Supervisory Refuge Ranger Toni Westland of the J.N. Ding Darling National Wildlife recently gave our SanCap Kiwanis members a private tour on the Indigo Trail.

Members enjoyed hearing stories of alligators and otters, while spotting lots of baby birds and nests. They even discovered a rare green anole.

They also heard a story about baby raccoons that not only survived the hurricane, but were able to thrive and mature.  These stories of resiliency brought optimism and encouragement to our club members.

Thanks again to Ranger Toni for being our leader on this fun and educational walk.
