The SanCap Kiwanis Club was delighted to host Kitty Green, Vice President, Advancement and Executive Director of the Foundation at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU), during our recent meeting. Kitty shared invaluable insights on how to engage with the university, providing a comprehensive overview of FGCU’s strategic plan pillars, the innovative Shady Rest Institute on Positive Aging, and various opportunities for community involvement with FGCU students.
During her presentation, Kitty highlighted several ways our community can actively engage with FGCU, including participating in mentoring programs, judging entrepreneurship projects, and volunteering for mock interviews. These initiatives not only support student development but also strengthen the bond between FGCU and our local community.
