Independent Community Bankers Association has named Sanibel Captiva Community Bank to its 2023 top lenders list. The national list recognizes community banks that are successful loan producers in several different lending categories and asset sizes. Sanibel Captiva Community Bank is ranked 19th in the consumer mortgage category for banks with $300 million to $1 billion in assets – the only Florida bank included in that category – and earned an 87.4 consumer lender score.

Using 2022 FDIC data, a lender score was calculated out of 100 for every community bank in the nation. The score combines the average of the bank’s percentile rank for lending concentration and loan growth over the past year in various lending categories.

“Lending is one of the most important contributions a community bank can make to a local economy,” said Kyle DeCicco, president and CEO of Sanibel Captiva Community Bank. “As one of Southwest Florida’s only community banks, we’re committed to helping our customers achieve financial success.”
