Through March 21, all Sanibel Captiva Community Bank branches are donation drop-off locations for prom dresses and Point Store items benefitting PACE Center for Girls of Lee County.
New and gently loved formal dresses, shoes and accessories are being collected to help outfit the girls in preparation for their prom in May.
New items such as makeup, skin and hair products, art supplies, candles, perfume and bedroom decor are needed to stock the Point Store to provide unique incentives for PACE students to maintain good behavior, attendance and academic achievement.
The Point Store is a critical component of PACE’s positive behavior system used to motivate, encourage and celebrate the good things students are doing at school, home and in the community. Every month, the girls “spend” their earned points on items for themselves or their families at the Point Store located inside the center.

PACE Center for Girls of Lee County offers year-round counseling and academic services for girls, ages 12-18, who are facing challenges such as foster care, domestic violence, abuse and neglect, death of a parent, substance abuse and/or family history of incarceration. At the request of community leaders and elected officials, PACE Lee was established in 2007 and since opening its doors, it has helped over 1,000 girls find success in school, generate a positive relationship with their families and peers, and become productive members of the community.
