Sanibel Captiva Community Bank is proud to announce the promotion of Rachel Kaduk to assistant vice president, recognizing her exceptional service, dedication and ongoing contributions to the bank’s success.
Kaduk was hired in 2020 as an interim loan operations specialist to assist with the Small Business Administration Payroll Protection Program. Kaduk quickly transitioned to a permanent position as a residential loan coordinator responsible for reviewing loan applications and preparing mortgage files for delivery to underwriting and in 2024 was promoted to a residential loan officer.
Kaduk is heavily involved in the Southwest Florida community. In 2024, Kaduk was elected to the Cape Coral City Council, serving District 7. She currently sits on several nonprofit boards, including the Chamber of Commerce of Cape Coral, Guardian Angels for Special Populations and the Southwest Florida Symphony. In addition, she is active with the Chamber of Southwest Florida and the Lee County Republican Liberty Caucus.
She has received several recognitions for her community work in the last several years including being recognized as a Chamber of Commerce of Cape Coral “Chamber Champion” and Government Affairs Committee Member of the Year. In 2023, Kaduk was chosen as one of 10 Southwest Florida women to receive the 2023 Acts of Kindness Award at the 7th Annual Women of Distinction Gala. In 2024, Gulfshore Business selected her as a 40 Under 40 honoree.

Founded in 2003, Sanibel Captiva Community Bank has eight locations open throughout Lee County. In Fort Myers, at the bank’s McGregor Branch, located at 15975 McGregor Blvd., the staff is operating out of a temporary mobile banking unit due to major flood damage to the existing building. Construction on the new building is underway and is expected to be completed in 2025. The bank recently purchased property on Fort Myers Beach for its ninth and newest location opening in 2026.
