Sanibel Captiva Community Bank received the Corporate Citizen Award at The Community Foundation’s 2025 Charity Event Awards in early April. The Corporate Citizen Award recognizes the efforts of a company that has a positive impact on the community, upholds strong ethical and moral standards and works toward a sustainable future.

Founded in 2003, Sanibel Captiva Community Bank has eight locations open throughout Lee County. In Fort Myers, at the bank’s McGregor Branch, located at 15975 McGregor Blvd., the staff is operating out of a temporary mobile banking unit due to major flood damage to the existing building. Construction on the new building is underway and is expected to be completed in 2025. The bank is building its ninth and newest location on Fort Myers Beach, opening in 2026.
