Sanibel Captiva Community Bank proudly announces that Laura Marsh, employee and community engagement coordinator, has been named an honoree for Sunny 106.3’s Outstanding Women of Southwest Florida. This recognition highlights a diverse group of inspiring women leaders in the community who represent different careers, backgrounds, volunteer activities and passions.
Marsh is being recognized for her efforts in teaching financial literacy education throughout Lee County. Through her role at the bank, she has dedicated countless hours to empowering hundreds of Southwest Florida youth and adults with essential money-management skills, laying the foundation for brighter financial futures.
Nominees were chosen through a community-driven nomination and voting process. The public was invited to vote online, with finalists selected based on total votes cast. The top 12 honorees will be recognized at an awards ceremony this August.
“Laura’s commitment to financial literacy has made a lasting impact on the lives of countless people in our community,” said Amy McQuagge, vice president and director of marketing and community outreach at Sanibel Captiva Community Bank. “Her commitment to serving others reflects the very best of who we are as a community bank – empowering others, building knowledge and strengthening the fabric of our community.”
