It’s almost time for the world-renowned and very competitive Sanibel Shell Show that everyone knows and loves. This year’s show will include a large number of both Artistic and Scientific exhibits on display.
The 2025 Sanibel Shell Show will be held on March 6th , 7th and 8th , from 9am – 5pm on Thursday and Friday, and from 9am – 4pm on Saturday, at the beautiful Marriott Sanibel Harbour Resort & Spa, just before the Sanibel Causeway, on the right. The Marriott venue offers additional room for world-class professional and hobbyist exhibits, as well as many amazing works of art and scientific designs for attendees to see and appreciate. Plenty of free parking is available, as well as approximately 70 vendor tables of merchandise offering shells and shell-related items, a Silent Auction and a raffle loaded with amazing prizes, and a free bag of Sanibel shells for each attendee.
Proceeds from the Sanibel Shell Show benefit many different causes and organizations via grants within not only the Sanibel and Captiva communities, but in other educational research in Southwest Florida. The proceeds support grants to some favorite Sanibel organizations such as the Bailey-Matthews National Shell Museum & Aquarium and the Sanibel Captiva Conservation Foundation (SCCF). Grants also support local university research into mollusks and water quality. All proceeds are given back to the Southwest Florida community.
