Sanibel Captiva Business Women’s Association (SCBWA) will hold its November Luncheon on Tuesday, November 14th from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm at Timbers Restaurant.

This meeting will be the annual member meeting. It will focus on a year-in-review for SCBWA, where board members will highlight the various events of the year. The meeting will also highlight the subcommittees, as well as state the goals for the upcoming year.

Members will have the opportunity to sign up for various subcommittees and learn about new ways to get involved. Non-members are also encouraged to attend to find out more information about the group with the opportunity to sign-up to join the organization.

SCBWA President, Taylor Osborne, states “This will be a very exciting meeting. We will acknowledge and highlight the successes and growth of our organization over the past 2 ½ years while sharing goals for future development as we continue to strengthen our footprint in the Sanibel Captiva community.”

Additionally, SCBWA will be awarding scholarship recipients during this time.

In reference to the scholarship fund, Osborne explains, “We are also thrilled to be able to award our 2023 scholarship recipients at the upcoming November luncheon. Due to overwhelming support we have received we have exceeded our initial scholarship projections and will award multiple scholarships to local women working toward educational and career advancement.”
