Sanibel Captiva Business Women’s Association will host its Second Annual Open House on Tuesday, May 9th at the Captiva Civic Association from 6-8 p.m.
The event celebrates the success of the organization each year and its members. This year’s event will include live music by Dave Confrey, an opening icebreaker game, refreshments and a chance for members and non-members to mingle and celebrate another successful year as an organization.
Last year’s inaugural event held over 50-plus women for a fun evening of networking and celebrating the organization’s first year. In a year’s time, over 80 women joined the organization.
Sanibel Captiva Business Women’s Association is dedicated to empowering and supporting the women who work and live on the islands through networking, mentorship, continuing education and career advancement.
SCBWA aims to serve the community by offering an inclusive, supportive and diverse group of women supporting women. Our focus is the advancement of women’s career development targeted to workers, aspiring workers and residents of Sanibel and Captiva. The group meets every third Tuesday of the month at various businesses and restaurants at noon.
