On Saturday, February 22, the Community House was transformed into the social hub of Sanibel and Captiva Islands as SanCap Kiwanis hosted its much-anticipated annual spaghetti dinner. This cherished tradition brought together residents and guests for an unforgettable evening of food, fun, and community spirit.

With the help of dozens of dedicated volunteers and hundreds of man hours, over 200 pounds of pasta were prepared and served, resulting in nearly 1,000 plates of spaghetti enjoyed by attendees. The event was a testament to the power of community, connecting islanders in a way that nothing else can.

In addition to the delicious meal, the evening featured lively music, raffles, and silent auctions.

“We are incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed to making this event a success,” said Emily Ankerson, President of SanCap Kiwanis. “The annual spaghetti dinner is a highlight for our islands, and it’s heartwarming to see the community come together year after year.”

SanCap Kiwanis extends a thank you to all the volunteers, sponsors, and attendees who made this magical evening possible. For those interested in joining SanCap Kiwanis and contributing to future community events, please visit our website at www.sancapkiwanis.org
