The San-Cap Rotary Club is proud to showcase one of our scholarship recipients. Chau Khanh Vy Nguyen, majoring in Hospitality & Tourism Management at FGCU, is the recipient of the Rotary Club of Sanibel-Captiva Endowed Scholarship Fund in Memory of William Angst.
Chau Khanh Vy Nguyen, a sophomore in college majoring in Hospitality & Tourism Management. “I find happiness in helping other people and making
them happy. I realized that a hospitality major will be my career because it matches my personality and my passions,” stated Nguyen. “I love studying, and I understand that education is the only way to help me earn a higher-paid career in the future, which is the biggest motivation for me to keep studying hard and put all of my effort into becoming an excellent scholarship candidate.”
After graduating from FGCU, Nguyyen’s goal is to get hired by a resort agency.
Chau will receive this scholarship for her entire 4 years at FGCU as long as her grades remain in good academic status.
The Sanibel-Captiva Rotary currently awards nine different scholarships to deserving students.
