This week, we welcomed Greg Longenhagen, Producing Artistic Director of the Florida Repertory Theatre, who shared how this nonprofit serves over 100,000 audience members annually across three performance spaces. The theatre also provides opportunities for 18–26 interns each season, educates 45,000 young people, and engages with five marginalized communities through its outreach programs.
Each production costs around $400,000, with only 6% covered by ticket sales — so community support truly makes a difference. Upcoming shows include Doubt, Scrooge, and The Play That Goes Wrong. Tickets are available through the box office, and subscribers enjoy special discounts and privileges.
A big thank-you to Greg for sharing the Florida Rep’s story and impact with our members. To learn more about our Speaker Series and community programs, visit www.sancapkiwanis.org
