Ryan Benson resides on the east end of the Island with his wife, Jess, and their two sets of twins. He is the co-owner of A. Vernon Allen Builder. AVA is headquartered in Naples, with an office on Sanibel, and is one of the most established premier home building companies in southwest Florida, celebrating 75 years of building the finest homes in our area. He currently is serving as the 2025 President of the Florida Home Builders Association.
Ryan has been actively involved in several organizations in the area, having served as Vice Chairman of the Boys and Girls Club of Colier County, and Vice Chair of Canterbury School in Fort Myers. He currently serves at the pleasure of Governor DeSantis on the Board of Directors of Affordable and Workforce Housing for the State, the Florida Housing Finance Corporation, most recently as Chairman in 2024.
He is the Past President of the Naples Gulfshore Rotary Club, and is proud to be joining the Sanibel Captiva Rotary Club.
