Water temps are cooling, signaling the shift to fall and winter fishing. Beach snook action has mostly wrapped up, but Spanish mackerel are showing up just past the buoys. Inside waters, especially around Ding Darling, are producing good numbers of snook and redfish. Grass beds are bouncing back too, offering fun days with small snook, trout, and ladyfish.

Keep an eye out for those southbound tarpon — they’ve been scarce so far, but that could change any day.

We’ll keep sharing reports every couple of weeks as conditions evolve.
