THE SANIBEL HISTORICAL MUSEUM AND VILLAGE
- Christmas Eve, Tuesday, December 24: OPEN 10:00am to 2:00pm; last admission sold at 1:00pm
- Christmas Day, Wednesday, December 25: CLOSED
- New Year’s Eve, Tuesday, December 31: OPEN 10:00am to 2:00pm; last admission sold at 1:00pm
- New Year’s Day, Wednesday, January 1: OPEN 10:00am to 2:00pm; last admission sold at 1:00pm
Surf the Village Shop in Shore Haven to find unique Christmas gifts. The Shop follows the Holiday Hours schedule. Admission is not required to visit the Shop.
The Village is regularly OPEN Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Admission is sold until 1:00pm. Through Saturday, January 4 a Special Admission is being offered at $10.00 for adults aged 19 and over. Youth aged 18 and under are FREE. Annual Memberships are available with levels beginning at $40. Member benefits include free admittance of site visits.
Founded in 1984, the Village is excited to welcome visitors during its 40th year of preserving, sharing, and celebrating Sanibel’s history. The tour experience includes an orientation video and historic buildings displaying numerous artifacts telling engaging stories. All buildings are handicap accessible.
The Village is located on Sanibel Island at 950 Dunlop Road (next to Big Arts) and parking is free.
The Sanibel Historical Museum and Village operates as a non-profit organization.
