Twenty years after launching the “Peek at the Unique” home tour, the Zonta Club of Sanibel-Captiva is delighted to announce the latest incarnation of its annual fundraiser. “Peek at the Unique Home Trends” is set for Saturday, March 19, 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon at the Sanibel Community House, featuring a brunch buffet followed by premier local providers discussing trends in home design and construction, décor and landscaping.
Anyone looking to purchase, build, remodel, paint, redecorate and/or update landscaping on a home in Southwest Florida will discover here a valuable source of expertise and insider information. Tickets are $75.00 including brunch, and seating is limited.

The 19th annual “Peek” home tour in March 2020 was cancelled by the pandemic, and since then, Zonta has organized alternative events to raise funds. Judy Langley, chair of fundraising, said: “This event honors Zonta’s 20-year tradition of introducing unique homes but goes a step beyond. Since we can’t take ‘Peekers’ on a tour of the great work being done in our island homes, we will connect homeowners with knowledgeable, local professional firms who do this work, showcasing the latest trends.”
All proceeds of “Unique Home Trends” will be directed to Zonta’s foundation for distribution in grants to area non-profits whose mission is empowering women. The original “Peek” tour raised hundreds of thousands of dollars, and in the past 20 years, over $1.1 million was raised and distributed.
