Two significant milestones are being reached in the recovery of our islands in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian. Bank of the Islands President Robbie Roepstorff is pleased to announce the Bank’s Captiva office has fully reopened effective November 22. The Bank’s Sanibel office will reopen on Monday, November 28.
“Our Captiva office is open for all banking services, including use of its ATM, right now,” said Roepstorff. “At our Sanibel office, all banking services will be available beginning on the 28th, primarily from the Bank’s temporary offices located on premise.”
Effective immediately, the Captiva office, located next to the Captiva Post Office at 14812 Captiva Drive, will be open from 9am-3pm Monday-Friday. Beginning November 28, the Bank will be offering full banking services from 9am-4pm Monday-Friday out of its temporary on-site operation at its Sanibel office, located at 1699 Periwinkle Way at Casa Ybel Road. In addition, our Edison National Bank offices in Fort Myers at 13000 S. Cleveland Avenue and our River District office at 2105 First Street will continue to welcome all our island customers.
