Bank of the Islands President Robbie Roepstorff is pleased to announce the Bank has made a long-term commitment to education at the Children’s Education Center of the Islands (CECI).

“One of the most important hallmarks of a great community is its commitment to early childhood education,” said Roepstorff. “Young families on Sanibel and Captiva are so fortunate to have CECI right here on our islands. We want that to be true for generations to come!”

The Bank’s gift is being recognized with the naming of a bench on the CECI campus on Casa Ybel Road.

“As a close neighbor to our Sanibel office, we know CECI has the perfect location for outdoor learning to instill a love of our natural world. We’re happy to play a supporting role in that,” said Roepstorff.
