Community Housing and Resources (CHR), a non-profit organization dedicated to providing affordable housing and resources for the community, is thrilled to announce the launch of its exciting new promotion, “Give Your Heart to CHR.”

Throughout the month of January, residents and visitors of Sanibel & Captiva Islands are invited to participate in this heartwarming initiative by exploring the island and discovering CHR’s heart sculptures. These beautifully crafted sculptures are strategically placed across the island, serving as a symbol of love and support for CHR’s mission.

To participate, simply locate one of the heart sculptures, take a selfie with it, and share it on social media using the hashtag #GiveYourHeartToCHR. By doing so, you not only show your support for CHR but also contribute to spreading awareness about the importance of affordable housing and resources in our community.

“We are excited to launch the ‘Give Your Heart to CHR’ promotion and engage with our community in a fun and meaningful way,” said Nicole Decker
-McHale, Executive Director of CHR. “We believe that everyone deserves a safe and affordable place to call home, and through this initiative, we hope to inspire others to join us in making a difference.”

Participants are encouraged to visit all the heart sculptures around the island, capturing their unique experiences with each one. CHR will be sharing the most amazing photos on their social media platforms, showcasing the community’s creativity and support.

If someone submits pics from all 15 Hearts, they will receive a gift and be entered into a drawing for one of Artranger Toni’s beautiful jackets.

“We look forward to seeing the incredible photos that our community members will capture,” added Nicole Decker-McHale. “Together, we can create a stronger, more inclusive community where everyone has access to affordable housing and resources.”
