SCCF, in partnership with Todd and Leanne Marcum and Captiva Cruises, is excited to welcome guests aboard its first floating concert of the season. Tickets are now on sale to see and hear country music artist Elizabeth Cook on Sunday, November 7 from 4-6pm. This is a truly magical experience you will want to enjoy for all four concerts in this season’s lineup.

The Lady Chadwick sets sail from McCarthy’s Marina on Captiva Island. Included with each purchased ticket, Catering by Leslie Adams will be providing individual “Sunset Snack Boxes” with scrumptious treats to enjoy while cruising Pine Island Sound. Thanks to “First One’s on Us!” contributions from Janie Howland and Jack Thomas, guests will be treated to a complimentary cocktail of their choice. The sunset cruise, the performance, the appetizers, and the first drink are all included in the $100 ticket price. Guests will be able to purchase additional drinks from the bar throughout their time onboard. Net proceeds benefit the water quality research and education efforts of SCCF and its Sanibel Sea School.

“It just feels right to be raising funds while sailing on the actual waters we are working to protect,” said SCCF Events Manager and Pine Island Sounds Producer Jeff Siwicke.

Elizabeth Cook is a Nashville-based singer songwriter with Florida roots. The New York Times hailed Cook as “a sharp and surprising country singer.” She is also a veteran SiriusXM Outlaw Country Radio DJ, known for nationwide distribution of her Apron Strings show for the last 10 years. As noted by Drivin’ and Cryin’s legendary Kevin Kinney, “Elizabeth is so far ahead and under the radar you better have a supercharger for that fastback if you’re going to catch up! Enjoy the ride…”

“We are still working on artist selection for our January 16th cruise. At this time, we are thrilled to announce the December 12th cruise featuring The 502s, as well as the February 13th cruise featuring Twisted Pine,” said Siwicke.
